Our retirement planning service includes:

  • A review of your current pension arrangements
  • Testing your existing pensions against the lifetime limit
  • Recommending contribution levels
  • Review of tax free cash, death benefits, any guaranteed benefits, transfer values
  • Platform selection (e.g. Wrap, Stakeholder, Personal Pension, SIPP, SSAS)
  • Portfolio construction (Investment Planning), using a clear and transparent asset allocation model, based on your objectives and attitude to risk
  • Annual pension review, including performance against objectives, and risk profile.
  • Advice on your retirement options and taking the benefits (annuities, income drawdown, phased retirement, scheme pension)
  • Unlimited contact by phone, e-mail, and letter.
  • Valuations at any time on request.
  • Liaising with other advisers (tax accountant, solicitor).
  • Client Newsletters (Financial News).
  • Occasional client seminars.

For pension investments under our management, the cost of the standard service is 0.5% of the pension value per year, plus an initial charge for financial planning and implementing the arrangements.

We provide a service for divorcees on pension sharing.

The Financial Services Authority does not regulate taxation, tax planning or trust advice. Levels and bases of, and reliefs from, tax are subject to change.
